Pink Ribbon Program Joins Forces with the Jewish Community Centers Association

The Pink Ribbon Program (PRP) is proud to announce their partnership with The Jewish Community Centers of North America as part of their DISCOVER @ the JCC Program. This collaboration will enhance the DISCOVER program, which emphasizes the holistic nature of good health and well-being by making available to JCCs a variety of wellness programs and online tools for members to track and improve their health habits.
“We have spent time and effort researching innovative programs that best suit the needs of our JCCs,” explains Steven Becker, Director of Health and Wellness Services. “We strongly believe that the Pink Ribbon Program will create a unique niche for our personal trainers, allowing them to market the JCC as the place to come for innovative wellness programming.”
The PRP is a non-profit organization that was founded to develop a comprehensive rehabilitative exercise program designed to improve recovery for breast cancer patients. By collaborating with the JCC, Pink Ribbon will be offering complimentary registration to JCC facilities, as well as a discount on registration for JCC fitness professionals.
The founder of PRP, Doreen Puglisi, is enthusiastic about the collaboration. “As a breast cancer survivor myself, I know first-hand how difficult it is to recover from the surgery and treatment prescribed to breast cancer patients. By joining forces with the JCC, we can reach even more women and help them regain a sense of well-being and quality of life that may have been lost in the course of the treatments.”
